Fall registration opens
August 29th
The ILR Fall 2019 Course Catalog is here! Most areas have reported receipt of their catalogs. The USPS was very kind to us this semester. Yours hasn't arrived yet? Look for it any day now.
If you requested a catalog within the past week, know that it is on its way. Not yet receiving our catalog? Request a copy.

Online, by mail, in personAt 9:00 a.m. on August 29th, our website will be updated with a live link to online registration and our office will begin processing mailed registrations in the order they were received. While we continue to have three easy ways to register--online, mail, or in person--online is your quickest option and guarantees your seat in class or on the bus. Online registration–accessed from the ILR website–takes only minutes and requires no passwords. Once you experience the ease of registering online, you'll understand the appeal. It's the most efficient means of registering, both for you and the ILR office.

Important changes to registration- The only form of payment that will now be accepted for online registration is credit card--Mastercard, Visa, American Express or Discover. Payment must be made at the time of purchase. The "buy now, pay later" option is no longer available. Hesitant to use a credit card online? Pre-paid credit cards are available at most retailers. Just remember to add the extra 2% merchant fee (not an ILR or Miami fee).
- Due to the change above, we've anticipated a possible increase in mailed and walk-in registrations. For that reason, opening day for registration was delayed, thus allowing those registering by mail the opportunity to send their registrations in early. Mailed and in-person registrations will be processed in the order they were received beginning at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 29th.
- The Voice of America Learning Center has been under renovation all summer. Staffing changes have occurred, resulting in a reduction of support staff. While registrations can be dropped off there, they will not be processed until they're sent via Miami trucking to the Miami mailroom, then to the ILR office in Oxford. For that reason, we recommend mailing your registration directly to ILR in Oxford.

After compiling the data and inking the record books for the seventh straight year, your ILR Board Chair, Mike Griffith, has prepared the ILR 2018-2019 Annual Report for your review. There's a lot to crow about around the ILR water cooler, and we hope this report will inspire you to jump in, get involved (or stay involved), and discover what it is that makes us unique.

Just 9 hours left! We've reached 16% of our goal, but the day's not over. Outside MacMillan Hall, the campus is buzzing with repeating excitement of unpacking, wiping away happy goodbye tears, and moving into a new chapter of life. #MoveInMiami is a campus-wide initiative that helps us honor the Class of 2023. It allows you to give back to what matters to you most on campus. We hope ILR tops the list of what matters to you the most at Miami. Miami's goal is to reach 2023 gifts on move-in day--today! ILR's goal is to reach 50 gifts. All donations made here directly benefit ILR. Any amount counts. Remember, it's all about participation. Thank you!
