Hi Neighbor!

My mother-in-law periodically gives me tidbits of advice that she thinks will be "life altering".  She always starts with "You just won't be able to stop thanking me for this!...."  Then followed by some nutty, usually "newly learned", tidbit of knowledge.   I've written about these periodic jewels of wisdom in past newsletters.  Let's see ... I believe you may remember her bit on how to shop at Trader Joes.  You simply pick someone that looks interesting from the parking lot and then follow them through the store, putting everything they buy in your cart and then unpack your surprises when you get home!  Or maybe you remember her bit on chewing Super Elastic Bubble Plastic?   Or possibly her bit on making snow angels every morning as a good wake up exercise -- just be careful not to get all twisted in the sheets!!

Well, although I LOVE to tease her about her bits of wisdom, this week she outdid herself!!  This week was a true "I will never stop thanking her!" piece of advice!  The easiest, most efficient way to clean my windows!  (I happen to have a couple large dogs ... so my windows are a mess constantly and I am forever cleaning them!)  She brought over a package of Microfiber Towels.  She told me to take one towel and run it under hot water, wring it out, wash the window off, and then follow with a dry microfiber towel.  I did this in DIRECT SUNLIGHT too!!  No smears, no smudges!!  No windex!  No paper towels!  Nothing but the microfiber towels and some warm water!  It was fantastic!!

Btw -- you can buy these towels as their brand name "Nano Towel" for $25 bucks OR you can just buy some  microfiber towels for a third of the price!

ENJOY and KEEP THOSE WINDOWS CLEAN!

Q: How do I find the perfect summer camp for my child?

A: Step 1: Choose your location
Today, there are over 12,000 camps in the United States alone, so you’ll never be short of location choices! When deciding a location here are a few things to think about:
•    How far does your child feel comfortable traveling? This will affect if the child spends the night or attends as a day student.
•    If your child does prefer to be a residential camper, what type of housing is offered at the summer camp? Will your child be staying in a large cabin with bunk beds or will they stay in a college campus dorm with a roommate?
•    Is air-conditioned housing a must for your child in the summer?
•    Is there WiFi available? What is the summer camp’s electronics policy?
•    Use this Comparison Guide to compare up to three different summer camp options.

Step 2: Choose the type of program
Is your child an athlete, artist, or a future-CEO...

I truly enjoyed my experience with Nolan again. One thing I especially appreciated was the gentle nudges to actually make the final color decisions and schedule the job. Sometimes home maintenance gets pushed back and back and I'm always glad to have it completed.
