Time to Apply for Kindergarten!
Application time is NOW for the 2018 kindergarten class!Applications may be submitted online or by calling Betty Isaacs.
Our St M families are our best ambassadors! Please help us spread the word to your friends and neighbors about our Admissions Open Houses!
- St M Kindergarten Open Houses for Prospective Parents are scheduled for October 25 and October 26 at 9:30 am. Interested families can register here.
- St M Middle School Open House for Prospective Parents is scheduled for Sunday, November 12 at 2 p.m. Interested families can register here.

Middle School Bowling SocialBowling Social this Friday, September 22, from 3:30-4:45 p.m. at King Pin Lanes, 200 N. Otterdale Road in Midlothian. Middle School students should sign-up in the Great Hall by Wednesday, September 20.
The cost for 2 games of bowling and shoes is $6 (cash only). Extra games may be purchased for $2. Students may also bring additional money for food.

School Directories Go Home!The 2017-2018 School Directory and Handbook is hot off the presses and was sent home this week with the youngest child in each family.
The Directory includes a list of St M families by zipcode to aid with carpools and relationship-building in your neighborhoods, as well as Middle School Google Classroom codes.

Earn Money for St. Michael's while Shopping at Kroger!The Kroger Community Rewards Program allows families who already shop at their stores to earn money for an organization of their choice. Just link your Kroger Plus Card number to St. Michael’s to support the School every time you shop! Please encourage family members who shop at Kroger to link their cards to our School.
How do I link my card?- Sign in to your digital account at Kroger.com.
- Select “My Account” under the “Welcome Valued Customer” drop down menu on the upper right side.
- Scroll down to the “Kroger Community Rewards” section of your account page.
- Select “Enroll Now” or “Edit.”
- When prompted enter the School’s organization number: 82190 or “St Michael’s” (no period).
- Click “Save.”

Extended Day: New LS Drop-In Pricing Families in need of a single day of Lower School after-school childcare from time to time may take advantage of new daily rate options: $15 drop-in rate from 3-4:30 p.m. and $30 drop-in rate from 3-6 p.m. Please contact Allyson Steele with 24-hours notice to reserve your spot.

Lower School Birthday Books
The Birthday Book Assembly, a long-standing St M tradition, offer students a way to present a favorite book to the library in honor of their birthdays, in honor of someone special such as a teacher or sibling, or in memory of a loved one. Three Birthday Book programs are scheduled during the school year.
The deadline for submitting Birthday Books for the October 19 program is September 28.
Mrs. Wise has a selection of new books in the Lower School library from which to choose. Please feel free to email her (cwise@stmschool.net) if you have any questions.
