Free speech is one of the most fundamental rights Americans have. But what does free speech truly mean?
JUS 306 will be offered this fall semester on Thursdays from 4 to 5:45pm, both in person at UMA Rockland and online via Zoom. UMA Justice Studies faculty and First Amendment scholar Phillip Buckley will teach this course, discussing how free speech has developed and the role it has played in American history and culture.
