Dear Traveler,
Welcome to summer in Transylvania County, where the many joys of the season are unfolding from the tops of our mountains to the heart of downtown Brevard. And though this summer may feel a little different than others, the forests are still green, the waterfalls are rushing over the rocks, and we’re out there having (socially distanced) fun in the warm Transylvania sun.

A typical July would mean parades, fireworks and festivals galore. And while most of our big events will not be happening this summer, there are still plenty of fun things to discover. We invite all our visitors to learn how to Explore Responsibly in Brevard and Transylvania.

In the meantime, we hope you’ll enjoy the fine weather and beautiful scenery. Our forests, trails, streams and rivers, as well as many local shops and restaurants, are open and ready to be enjoyed.

Catch you on the trail,
The Adventurist
