Station Eleven author coming to T.C.

Emily St. John Mandel, author of the acclaimed, Station Eleven, one of the most anticipated books of the fall, will be appearing at Brilliant Books on September 16th at 7pm
Described by Entertainment Weekly as " One of the most buzzed-about literary titles of the fall" , Station Eleven is a post- apocalyptic novel for those who don't read post- apocalyptic novels. This is both a love song to the world we inhabit now, and a testament to the enduring promise of humanity.
Station Eleven is getting an incredible early buzz in both Europe and America.  It has received coveted ‘Starred Reviews’ from each of the big three reviewers: Kirkus , Booklist and The Library Journal .  Interest has been so great that publisher Knopf has already announced a second printing.  The book doesn’t come out until September 9th.
