On Sunday, February 9, 2025, the Department of Campus Safety received a report of aggravated assault that took place at approximately 3:43 a.m. in front of Founders Hall on East 12th in Manhattan.
The victim, an NYU student, was throwing snowballs with other students and hit an individual who was not in the group. The individual approached the student and punched them in the face, breaking their nose.
EMS was notified and the student was transported to the hospital. NYPD has been notified.
Description of Suspects: The student reports the suspect is masculine presenting and approximately 5'10". The suspect has a beard and was wearing a brown coat, black hat, black pants, and white sneakers with red stripes.
