Alumni and Friends,
As we look back on a semester of tremendous accomplishments by our students, alumni, faculty, and staff, I am very proud of our Red Raiders.

These past few months have brought us many points of pride as we celebrated milestones such as the Skyviews Restaurant ribbon cutting and celebrated the news of a faculty member being named Horn Professor. We remembered the legacy of former faculty member, Lynn Huffman, Ph.D., and celebrated Interior Design alumna Lindsay Carlile on winning Grand Design in Tahoe Quarterly.

I am also thrilled to recognize our May 2021 graduates and the College of Human Sciences Banner Bearer. These students have overcome multiple challenges, and I’m incredibly proud of their resiliency. Thank you to all of the friends, family, faculty, and staff members who encouraged and supported them along the way.

I encourage you to dive into this issue to celebrate our most recent COHS graduates and read more about the achievements of our College of Human Sciences family. I hope you all will share your latest news and updatesWe look forward to hearing about your accomplishments and celebrations.

Thank you to our valued alumni and supporters. You each help pave the way for future Red Raiders to follow in your footsteps—improving and enhancing the human condition.
