2017 NCMF Spring Program
"A New Perspective on NSA's Covert Activities."
The 2017 NCMF Spring Cryptologic Program on 29 March from 1000 to 1300 hours will feature Mr. Stephen Budiansky, author of the recent history thriller, Code Warriors: NSA's Codebreakers and the Secret Intelligence War Against the Soviet Union. Budiansky will speak about his book which draws on an array of recently declassified documents to explore NSA's long SIGINT struggle against the Soviets. The material also traces the historical forces behind the intelligence controversies making headlines today. Learn more about Mr. Budiansky on our Calendar Event Page.
Registration includes lunch and is $20 for NCMF members, $50 for guests (includes a one-year complimentary NCMF membership). There will also be a booksigning after the presentation. Photos from NVP Color Ceremony
On 15 February 2017 the Joint Service Color Guard retired the colors at National Vigilance Park (NVP). To see more photos and learn more - Click HERE or on the image. The Park has been dismantled due to NSA's plans for a new visitor's center. We look forward to the reconstruction of NVP once the new museum is built.
Women's History Month
March gives us a special opportunity to pay tribute to female pioneers in fields such as cryptology, math, and computer science. Throughout the month, our social media posts will feature outstanding women leaders. LEARN MORE.
New Cyber Security Training Academy to Open at Bletchley Park
It won't be long before the next generation of code breakers can enroll in a new cyber security training academy at none other than Britain's Bletchley Park. LEARN MORE about this exciting project.
