Honoring our educator partners and increasing our impact
Dear Friend, 
Despite being strapped for time and resources, over half the educators we work with make monumental efforts to bring Upstream Arts into their classrooms. Each residency takes $7,000 to run. With community support, we subsidize $3,500 to $6,000 of the cost. Our partner educators must raise the remaining funds, and they do. Through crowd funding campaigns like Donor's Choose, personal appeals to family and friends, grants, and incredible effort, these educators, who do so much already, find time to raise funds to bring Upstream Arts in to their classrooms.
We honor the additional work they do and are keeping these tireless educators in mind as we launch our Fall Fund Appeal. We said yes to 33 residencies this autumn, but there are 12 more classrooms waiting, hoping to join our spring season.
With your investment, we can say YES to more hard-working teachers and deserving students. YOU make it possible to bring high-quality arts learning to over 400 individuals each week.
And, THANK YOU to all of the amazing supporters who have invested already this year, particularly those who gave since our last update.
All donations made online between now and November 15 will be eligible for Give to the Max Day prizes, increasing your impact.
