Welcome, Angela!
The BRET Office of Career Development is very excited to welcome Angela Zito to the team! 
After completing her BA in Psychology at CSU Sacramento, she went on to receive her MEd in Higher Education Administration at Vanderbilt University. She began working for the Commons Center during her graduate program and continued on with Vanderbilt Student Centers working on training and development programs for the undergraduate student employees. 
In her role with the BRET Office of Career Development, Angela will focus on professional development opportunities, include the module program.

The Vanderbilt Editors' Club will be hosting a workshop on writing a clear, communicative Specific Aims page Specific Aims Page Workshop Friday, March 10.


The Nashville chapter of the American Medical Writers Association (AMWA) is hosting a networking event on March 13 for members and those interested in medical communications.


Dr. Kevin Dieter will be joining the STEM Teaching Journal Club on March 16 and discussing applying for and interviewing for teaching-focused faculty positions.


The Center for Teaching will be offering a Summer Intensive for their Certificate of College Teaching course.


NIH BEST's PhD/Postdoc blog series features scientists at different stages of career development and includes BRET's very own Edward van Opstal! He will be discussing training in science communication.

Clubes de Ciencias Peru (CdeCPeru) is looking for talented young scientists to lead STEM workshops in Peru and mentor high school and college students. This summer (July 21st - 27th), the workshops will take place in Lima city.


The American Society for Cell Biology (ASCB), in partnership with Keck Graduate Institute, is offering a one-week intensive course from July 9-15, 2017, at the Keck Graduate Institute in Claremont, CA.
