Student Employment
Welcome, Class of 2023!
Each semester, Christendom hires more than 175 students to fill various rolls on campus, from food services to the library, receptionist to sacristan, and many others. These jobs are generally nine hours per week, though they vary from department to department. They are an opportunity for you to serve the College, gain work experience, and earn wages, all as you study at Christendom.
Student Employment opportunities are non-merit-based, meaning they are competitive and open to all students. Once you apply for a job using our Student Employment Website (SEW), department supervisors will review the list of applicants and their Application Résumés (completed when you log in to the SEW). Supervisors will then contact promising candidates to offer jobs. Job offers will come to your Christendom email address, so keep an eye out for them and respond promptly.
You will receive a personalized email on Tuesday, July 9 with your username and a temporary password, as well as instructions for using the SEW. Applications for the fall semester will open on Monday, July 15. Please log in to the SEW prior to the 15th in order to review job openings and complete your Application Résumé.
As you use the SEW, there are two people you may need to contact for help:
- Mr. Luke Fier, Director of Finance and SEW Administrator
- Mr. Stephen Pilon, Associate Librarian and SEW Tech Support
Our contact information is on the SEW and will also be in the email next Tuesday. Mr. Pilon should be contacted for all technical problems (login issues, links not working, etc.), and Mr. Fier should be contacted for all administrative problems (pretty much anything non-technical).
We look forward to welcoming you on campus this fall.
