Recent events have brought uncertainty for many in the DCC community. As an organization that runs the majority of our programs at DPS facilities, we wanted to share this communication sent to all DPS families a few weeks ago. When operating within our partner schools, we will follow DPS guidelines and do all we can to keep our singers safe - physically and emotionally.
Additionally, we wanted to assure our wonderful families that our other rehearsal locations - Park Hill United Methodist Church and First Mennonite Church - have welcoming statements and policies that help make our rehearsals as safe as possible.
Finally, we are proud to share the DCC's DEI statement approved last year by our wonderful Board of Directors. Our organization was founded on the principles of equity and inclusion, and the rich diverse tapestry of our choir community is an excellent reflection of who we are and why we exist.
As we navigate these challenging times together, we want you to always feel free to reach out to us whenever you have questions or concerns, and we will put on our best listening ears and hear you with our whole hearts as we move toward a better future together.
