Merrily We Go
51st Annual Brevard Christmas Parade and Holiday Stroll
Downtown Brevard
Saturday, Dec. 3
4pm Parade, 4-8pm Holiday Stroll
Brevard’s much beloved annual Christmas Parade brings more holiday spirit than you can shake a peppermint stick at for their 51st year. And while this year’s theme of “Peace On Earth” is meant to promote peace and calm in the world, it’s no reflection on the excitement level of parade goers! Come for the floats and the marching bands, and stick around
for Santa.
After the parade, take a wander and wonder at the sparkling lights and twinkling storefronts during Brevard’s Holiday Stroll. Enjoy live music, Christmas tree lighting, delicious food, crafts, shopping, and cast your vote in the Holiday Windows Competition.

This delightful event offers up what promises to be the most action-packed celebration of the season, where tiny and not-so-tiny tots will find much holiday joy by ice skating, inflatable snow tubing, Polar Express train rides, a petting zoo, sculpture demonstrations, food trucks and, of course, pictures with Santa himself.

Retronauts, coveters of kitsch, and tinsel connoisseurs rejoice! The nationally-celebrated (no joke!) Aluminum Tree & Ornament Museum (ATOM) and Research Center are back with their amazingly, awesomely over-the-top collection of Space Age aluminum Christmas trees and gaudy-as-you-like vintage ornaments at the Transylvania Heritage Museum for a holiday showing, 70’s style.
