The Sauk County 4-H Hall of Fame is a local recognition program that honors individuals who have made significant contributions to the 4-H program in Sauk County. Recipients get a plaque and a permanent spot on the Hall of Fame Tree located at the Sauk County Fair exhibit building. This year, two 4-H volunteer were honored with this award.
Helen, longtime leader of the Sauk-Prairie Earthlings 4-H Club, is being honored for 33 years of outstanding volunteer service. Her thoughtful leadership, dedication to youth development, and commitment to community service have left a lasting impact on Sauk County 4-H. Helen’s legacy continues to inspire generations of young leaders.
John is being honored for over 25 years of dedicated service to Sauk County’s Farm Safety program. Thanks to his hands-on approach and commitment to accessibility, more than 500 youth—and even a few adults—have gained practical, life-saving farm safety skills. His impact continues to make farms safer and communities stronger.
