Every spring, Federation partner JSSA offers financial need-based scholarships and educational loans to Greater Washington-area high school seniors attending college or a vocational program in the fall. Awards are also available for graduate students and members of the Jewish community.

In partnership with libraries, archives, and museums across the country, including Federation partner the Capital Jewish Museum, GMU’s Center for History, and New Media team is collecting and preserving media, documents, and stories that record how individuals and congregations have responded to these challenging times. During the month of May, EntryPointDC, and the Morris Cafritz Center for Social Responsibility are bringing together the young adult community in small groups to volunteer and learn together.
Intergenerational Art and Music Appreciation
The JCA Heyman Interages® Center is partnering with the Kensington Club, an adult day-care program that engages elderly adults with dementia. Youth volunteers and seniors will virtually participate in four shared art and music appreciation classes.
