Walsh University has launched an AI-focused Skilled Technical Workforce (STWF) Program designed to equip educators and administrators with the cutting-edge skills necessary to integrate Artificial Intelligence into K12 education, all while ensuring full tuition reimbursement through Ohio TechCred. This summer, Dr. Amy J. Heston and Dr. Neil G. Walsh developed and introduced “Unleashing the Power of AI: Empowering Educators Everywhere.” This course, offering Continuing Education Units, was specifically crafted for K12 educators and administrators. With a commitment to fulfilling the mission of Walsh's founders, the Brothers of Christian Instruction, Drs. Heston and Walsh extended an invitation to educators from local Catholic high schools, aiming to provide them with the tools to navigate and harness AI’s potential in the classroom. | Read More

Walsh University launched the new academic year with its inaugural ‘Service Saturday,’ an initiative organized by the Office of Student Affairs. This event brought together 300 freshmen and staff who volunteered across several different sites, embodying Walsh’s mission to educate students as leaders in service to others. The Division 2 Athletic Directors Association (D2 ADA) recently honored Walsh University Athletics for its exceptional academic accomplishments with the D2 ADA Academic Achievement Award. The Cavaliers finished 5th in the nation, with 224 student-athletes meeting the criteria for this prestigious accolade, having maintained a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher and completed at least two years of college-level coursework.

In the G-MAC (Great Midwest Athletic Conference), Walsh finished 2^nd, trailing only Tiffin University, with 228 athletes recognized out of 1,075 G-MAC student-athletes honored. This recognition highlights the academic excellence and commitment of our student-athletes across all sports.

Congratulations to all our scholar-athletes for their dedication and hard work both on the field and in the classroom. We extend our gratitude to our coaches for their exceptional leadership and commitment to fostering excellence in both academics and athletics.
