The Hickory features a one-car garage and covered porch

Our new Hickory homes will make smart use of a linear floor plan. The kitchen overlooks the dining room area, which leads into the main living area, offering family or guests a cozy gathering space.

For those with more functional priorities, the extra storage options – a linen closet and garage – are also available in this three-bedroom, two-bath home. The Hickory houses come with all the special add-ons of a Habitat Orlando & Osceola home: select appliances, Florida-friendly landscaping, and an energy-efficient design.

We have doubled our First-time Homebuyer Workshop offerings in Orange County

We are excited to announce that we have partnered with Orange County Government to be an official provider of Homebuyer Educational Seminars (aka HUD First-time Homebuyer Workshops) for county residents! As of this month, we have expanded our Orange County workshops to be held twice a month – once in English and once in Spanish.

First-Time Homebuyers Workshops are free and open to all, whether you're looking to purchase a home through Habitat or on the open market. Attending a seminar is a requirement for applying to Orange County’s down-payment assistance program.

The first two events will be at our headquarters at 4116 Silver Star Rd.:

• April 20 in English

• April 26 in Spanish

Congratulations to our new Habitat homeowners!

Margarita and Richard, our Park Square Homes Blitz 2024 family, celebrated closing on their brand new Habitat home last week. The couple and their two children are excited to have more space to spread out, as well as a stable, affordable place to call their own.

“Achieving homeownership, I believe, will bless my children because they will see that no matter the obstacles they face in life, it doesn’t mean they can’t achieve a goal,” Margarita said.
