Introducing new advisor for BSAD and ISCM
As our programs continue to grow and develop, the Distance Learning Center is proud to welcome our newest Advisor, Heidi Hawk. Hawk will take on advising duties for the undergraduate Business Administration and graduate Integrated Supply Chain Management programs.
 
While she is new to the advising team, Hawk has worked in the DLC for several years as a recruiter. Her experience has given her a familiarity with the programs and many of the students she will be working with. Read more

The fall 2016 commencement ceremonies will take place Saturday, Dec. 17. Join us in celebrating your accomplishment along with your fellow graduates. For graduation information, including ceremony times and instructions for ordering your cap and gown, please see the DLC's graduation webpage. You and your guests are also invited to join DLC staff and instructors for a Distance Education Reception that day in the Markee Pioneer Student Center, University Rooms North and South. Stop by anytime between 10 a.m.–1 p.m. to enjoy complimentary refreshments, meet staff and other graduates, and have your photo taken with your guests. 

Please R.S.V.P. and let us know whether or not you plan to attend your ceremony and/or the reception. Although it is too late to have your name in the program, you will still be able to walk in the ceremony and join us at the reception. Hope to see you there!

Student receives major award from Project Management Institute
Briesemeister (right) was able to meet MSPM Instructor Ginger Levin and Program Coordinator Bill Haskins at the PMI Global Congress before receiving his award.”
UW-Platteville Master of Science in Project Management alumnus John Briesemeister has received the 2016 Donald S. Barrie Award from the Project Management Institute Educational Foundation. The award recognizes a paper that advances knowledge in the engineering and construction industry.
