"Your Vote is Your Voice: Why Student Voting Matters"
Thursday evening, February 25, 2021, 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm
Our keynote speaker will be Leroy Frazier, Ph.D. Dr. Frazier is a scholar, humanitarian and past Interim President of Morris Brown College. As a 20-year-old college student, Dr. Frazier filed and won a federal lawsuit against the State of Mississippi. His lawsuit gave college students the right to register and vote in the city where they reside while attending college. Learn why he sued, how some are still trying to prevent college student voting, and why students’ votes matter.
This free special event will be held in Zoom. To receive the link to attend, please take a moment to register at http://bit.ly/cpsbh.
