 2017 PEARL HARBOR PROGRAM - 5 December
2017 Pearl Harbor Program
Join us on 5 December for our 17th Annual Pearl Harbor Memorial Program featuring special guest speaker Dr. Robert W. Love. This year's program will focus on the rationale for the attack, which even its architect, Admiral Yamamoto, characterized in so many words as a “death warrant.” Dr. Love, a professor and historian at the U.S. Naval Academy, will help us to understand the motives and goals of the planners and whether it was “a bold stroke or senseless strategy.” The program will take place from 10-11:30 am and will be followed by lunch. Fee is $25 for members, $50 for guests (complimentary one-year NCMF membership included with guest purchase). Get details and register online via the buttons below.

MORE CRYPTO/CYBER NEWS
The NCMF blog has launched with weekly cybersecurity notes (thanks to a contributing NCMF member). In the future, the blog will also highlight news about the New Museum and CCEI, as well as acquisitions, book reviews, and more. The blog is also featured on our Cybersecurity & Cryptology Today page. If you would like to contribute an article, essay, book review, etc., please contact webadmin@cryptologicfoundation.org
The NCM's Telemetry Intelligence (TELINT) Exhibit can now be referred to as the ANDERS Telemetry Intelligence Exhibit. The exhibit will include additional notes about the ANDERS facility on Shemya Island. ANDERS housed the HARDBALL telemetry data collection system. The Telemetry Processing System rack (featured in the photo) was part of the RISSMAN equipment that processed some of the data collected by HARDBALL. Many thanks to NCMF member Dick Bernard for his expertise regarding this topic and exhibit. Click here or on the photo to learn more and get links to related NSA publications.
