Update Your Roster Info

The deadline to update your information for the 2020 GLMS Annual Pictorial Roster is September 20, 2019. Your data may have changed since the 2019 roster was printed. Don’t rely on the current printed roster to check accuracy.

In order to access and view your 2020 roster listing online, visit www.glms.org; click the “My Membership” tab, then “Update Member Data,” or call 502-736-6340 to leave your roster updates via voicemail. If you have a new photo to submit, send to photos@glms.org.

Wear the White Coat Post-Op Dinner A Huge Success

The 2019 Wear the White Coat Experience concluded at the Pigment Gallery in the Mellwood Arts and Entertainment Center last night, Thursday, August 29. This award-winning GLMS event allowed physicians and community leaders to cross paths in exciting ways, then concluded with an opportunity to share their experiences at the Post-Op Dinner.

GLMS to Honor Military Veterans

Our November edition of Louisville Medicine magazine will feature a tribute to our physician members who have served in the armed forces. If you are a veteran, please fill out a brief form so we may include you in our tribute.

The opportunity for you to have an impact on Kentucky health care is fast approaching. The KMA Annual Meeting will be held September 20-22, and there are still delegate spaces available for the GLMS Caucus.

The caucus will meet at 10 a.m. on Sunday, September 22, at the Louisville Marriott East. There, GLMS members will discuss statewide resolutions which will be voted upon at the KMA House of Delegates immediately following the caucus. Active, life and in-training members are eligible to participate as GLMS Delegates to the KMA. Please attend if you’re able. All attendees must register by clicking the button below.

This year, GLMS will submit 15 resolutions for the KMA House of Delegates to consider. These resolutions discuss a wide range of important health care topics. For a full list of resolutions, click here. We urge you to come support GLMS, your patients and your fellow physicians.
