The U.S. Air Force Academy Association & Foundation has recently learned of the death of Gen. (Ret.) Henry Viccellio Jr., CS-09, Class of 1962. Gen. Viccellio passed away on Feb. 5, 2026, in Bainbridge Island, Washington.

A Memorial Service will be held on April 10, 2026, at the Memorial Pavilion at the USAFA Cemetery, 3024 Parade Loop, USAF Academy, Colorado. A reception lunch will follow. Reservations are kindly asked and can be made by clicking the RSVP button located in the "Upcoming Services" section within the obituary. Base access details to follow when available.
His family has suggested memorial donations be made in lieu of flowers to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
