Paving the way....

While 2019 was an amazing year for Inclusive Higher Education in Colorado with 70 students enrolled on 3 campuses, 2020 is going to be BIGGER! Colorado will celebrate 6 students as they become the first graduates!

In honor of this achievement we ask for your support to celebrate this upcoming 2020 milestone by giving a gift of $20.20 a month - click here for more.

Please help us continue our efforts and donate your "brick" in the path. Your contribution will pave the way and ensure there is an opportunity for all students with intellectual disabilities in Colorado who have a college dream.

Introducing Kacie

In May 2020, Kacie will graduate from Arapahoe Community College (ACC). Kacie's love of reading and learning drove her to enroll in college. At ACC, Kacie helped start the Elevate Club, dedicated to raising awareness of what it is like to be a student with a disability in college. She interned with a local coffee shop and now works in the college library. Upon graduating in May, Kacie hopes to transfer to a university to obtain her Bachelor's degree. Kacie hopes to work as a librarian and inspire children to love learning.

Outreach

Outreach Hits the Road

With residential options available at UNC and UCCS, inclusive higher education is not limited to a regional area. Thus, our Outreach and Education program works to ensure there is statewide awareness of the college options available for students with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Check out our December presentations, open to the public. We'll cover Colorado options and tips for preparing for higher education.
