The Southeast‘s premier arts weekend is back April 28-30 in downtown Huntsville! Panoply's 2023 music lineup features 30+ local bands and performers from various genres (who also get to hang out in the HSV Music Office-sponsored green room). So, grab your blankets and lawn chairs and come enjoy some fantastic North Alabama music!

Before a sold-out crowd at Propst Arena, Huntsville Mayor Tommy Battle presented a proclamation at the “Still Playing Possum: Music and Memories of George Jones” tribute concert, proudly marking Tuesday, April 25, as George Jones Day in Huntsville.

If you missed the George Jones tribute concert, it was recorded for national broadcast and will premiere on PBS later this year! The all-star lineup included Brad Paisley, Dierks Bentley, Wynonna, Travis Tritt, Jelly Roll, Tanya Tucker, Trace Adkins, Sara Evans, Justin Moore, Jamey Johnson, Joe Nichols, Aaron Lewis, Michael Ray, Uncle Kracker, Lorrie Morgan, Tracy Byrd, Tracy Lawrence, The Isaacs, Dillon Carmichael, T. Graham Brown, Gretchen Wilson, Sam Moore, Janie Fricke, Charlie Starr of Blackberry Smoke and a special appearance by Randy Travis.
Nancy Jones, along with the artists who performed at the show, raised money for Huntsville Police Department Officers Garrett Crumby and Albert Morin by offering signed guitars for purchase through adoptacop.com or concerts4acause.org, with all proceeds from both organizations to be combined and donated directly to the two local officer's families.

The second annual Camp to Amp Festival is BACK and bigger and better for 2023! The free, family and pet-friendly event is happening Saturday, May 13, from noon to 6 p.m. throughout the streets of MidCity and within the Orion Amphitheater. There will be four stages on-site with live music and performing arts, and we’re excited to share the HSV Music Office is hosting the main stage!

Experience the fun at the second annual We Love Our Youth & Families Fun Fest and Community Celebration on Saturday, May 20, at the Bob Harrison Wellness & Advocacy Center. Vibe with live DJs spinning family-friendly music while you moonwalk in bounce houses, slip and slide down inflatable waterslides, climb a 30-foot rock wall, learn about upcoming summer camps, programs and community resources and more.
