Dear Traveller:

We’ve arrived at that part of fall when some of the best things happen in the spaces between the holidays. If you keep your eyes open, you might catch the last act of autumn’s swan song up in the forests and around town. There’s no firm final performance date, but it generally falls after the monsters mash, but before any halls are fully decked. Most of November is the calm before the storm and a great opportunity to get a breath of fresh air before winter shows up and chills out.

Up in Transylvania, we’ll enjoy a fair number of cool, clear days, so if you’re inclined to try to work in a hike or a bike ride before the turkey comes out of the oven. Also, we’ve got a fair amount of activities on the docket that should lead you right up, if not into, the Christmas season.

Catch you on the trail,

The Adventurist
