Planning has already begun for CRIDC 2024. Sponsored by the Graduate Student Government Association and the Office of Graduate Education, the Career, Research, Innovation, and Development Conference (CRIDC) is an annual professional development event that offers a poster competition, panel sessions led by industry leaders, and career networking opportunities.

2023 Commencement Speakers Announced
|
Next week, 4,212 master’s candidates and 245 doctoral candidates will celebrate the completion of their degree programs at Georgia Tech. Offering words of wisdom to the graduates during the ceremonies will be 1934 Distinguished Professor Award recipient Ellen Zegura, NASA Administrator Bill Nelson, Chairman and CEO of Cisco Systems Chuck Robbins, and President and CEO of Southern Company Chris Womack.

Dongsuk Sung is a Ph.D. student studying biomedical engineering in the joint Georgia Tech and Emory University program. Sung's research in brain temperature earned him a Chih Foundation Graduate Student Research Publication award, recognizing innovation for societal betterment.

Registration is now open for the 2024 Career, Research, Innovation and Development Conference (CRIDC).
Sponsored by the Graduate Student Government Association and the Office of Graduate Education, CRIDC is an annual professional development event that offers a poster competition, panel sessions led by industry leaders, and career networking opportunities. This year, CRIDC is also hosting a virtual competition for online graduate students. CRIDC takes place on Thursday, February 8, 2024. Registration for the poster competition is open now until January 12, 2024.

Funding Opportunity: Apply for the Frontera Computational Science Fellowship
|
Frontera Computational Science Fellowship, funded by the National Science Foundation (NSF) and offered by the Texas Advanced Computing Center (TACC), provides a year-long opportunity for talented graduate students to compute on the most powerful academic supercomputer in the world and collaborate with experts at the TACC. The Frontera Computational Science Fellowship is open to graduate students across academic disciplines; all graduate students who meet eligibility requirements and hope to leverage high-performance computing in their research endeavors are welcome to apply. Application Deadline: February 6, 2024.

|
The DOE CSGF provides outstanding benefits and opportunities for doctoral students in various fields that use high-performance computing to solve complex problems in science and engineering. Renewable up to four years, the fellowship also seeks candidates researching applied mathematics, statistics, computer science, computer engineering or computational science advances that contribute to more effective use of emerging high-performance systems. Funding Opportunity: Apply for the DOE National Nuclear Security Administration Stewardship Science Graduate Fellowship
|
The DOE NNSA SSGF seeks and supports students pursuing a Ph.D. in areas of interest to stewardship science, such as materials under extreme conditions, nuclear science, or high energy density physics. Renewable for up to four years, The fellowship is renewable for up to four years and is open to U.S. citizens who plan full-time, uninterrupted study toward a doctoral degree at an accredited U.S. university. The Women’s Resource Center is looking for GA Tech students to help plan the Women's Leadership Conference, happening March 31, 2024. Planning will begin in January 2024. Committee members will also have the opportunity to join FLAME - Feminist Leaders Advocating & Mobilizing for Equity. FLAME is a student organization that is a place for women on campus to grow their leadership skills together. FLAME is responsible for planning the Women's Leadership Conference, as well as several other events throughout the year.
