Community Support Training |
|
|
Question, Persuade and Refer (QPR) |
QPR is a nationally recognized training that equips individuals to identify warning signs, offer support, and connect someone to help. Much like CPR, QPR is an emergency mental health intervention — a simple but effective approach that anyone can learn.
|
|
Students often share distress with someone they trust. Bobcats Who Care (BWC) helps faculty and staff notice warning signs, respond with empathy, and connect students to mental health support. BWC strengthens awareness, confidence, and readiness to respond when it matters most.

Not feeling your best? LiveHealth Online makes it easy to get care with just a click. Whether you’re dealing with a cold, managing medications, or needing support for stress, licensed doctors and mental health professionals can help—from home. With LiveHealth Online, you can have a video visit with:
■ 24/7 access to medical care
■ Appointments for wellness support available in about four days
■ Access to advanced mental health care within two weeks
Your Anthem plan covers video visits, so you pay only your share of the cost. Medical visits are typically $59 or less, and therapy or psychiatry sessions usually cost the same as an in‑office mental health visit.

I hold a role at OHIO, but not the kind that comes with diplomas or desk plates.
What I contribute was inherited long before syllabi or job postings existed.
Many say I help this place feel safer, simply by being myself.
My breaks are whenever I choose them, usually in a cozy spot I’ve claimed as my own.
And I always find myself in good company among the Bobcats.
Who am I?
