KU Faculty Development Academies Week is open to all faculty at all ranks and classifications. You are welcome to register for as many dates as you would like – and we can’t wait to see you there! Breakfast, lunch, and snacks will be provided. All Academies Days take place on the Lawrence Campus.

Summer Session 2026 Enrollment Review Dates
The College will be completing enrollment checks for Summer 2026 classes in May. This is a standard part of our summer process so that we can align instructional costs with enrollment. We will pull enrollments on Wednesday, April 29 and do our primary enrollment review during the week of May 4. We will communicate any concerns to you late that week or early the following week. Most decisions about continuing courses will be made during this check. Please take steps now to let students know what classes you will be offering and how taking a summer class can help them get ahead or catch up.
We will do a final follow-up check the week of May 18. This will mainly focus on courses that were identified as a concern in the first check that departments think will continue to enroll, particularly if they are canceling other classes or sections that will move students into the remaining courses. This should be a very small and focused set of classes. The majority of the decisions should be made at the earlier checkpoint so that both instructors and students know what to expect for summer.
