Save the Date for Volunteer Power Unleashed Summit 2024

Recruiters mark your calendar for the Volunteer Power Unleashed Summit 2024: Unlocking the Recruitment Code! The event will be held February 28-29 at the Embassy Suites by Hilton San Antonio Landmark. The cost is $50 per person and registration is limited to four people per program. This year, we encourage programs to invite one volunteer that has helped with recruitment efforts to attend the summit. Registration opens on December 5! Stay tuned for more details.

Meet Sub Uppaluri, New Texas CASA Data Manager

|
Sub Uppaluri comes to Texas CASA with over 18 years of IT experience having previously worked as IT Manager at Medtronic, a large medical device company. He has a strong background in consulting with experience focused on Data Transformations, ERP implementations, business intelligence and analytics. He also has extensive experience managing projects, building relationships with stakeholders and establishing project and architectural roadmaps.

Commercial Sexual Exploitation Identification Tool (CSE-IT) Training

If you're looking to expand your support for youth at risk of being trafficked, join Texas CASA for the next CSE-IT screening tool training. The CSE-IT tool enhances users ability to identify children and youth who have experienced this form of abuse. Developed with the input of survivors and service providers, this evidence-based tool has been validated with data from a 15-month pilot to ensure that it accurately identifies youth who have clear indicators of exploitation.
