On-Campus Recruiting (OCR)  is now OCI!
With the move to Handshake, On-Campus Recruiting (OCR) will now be called On-Campus Interviewing (OCI). New name, but same great opportunities! Here are some answers to common questions:
  • When will OCI positions be posted in Handshake? A few employers have begun posting their positions for fall recruiting and they will be continue to post on a rolling basis.
  • What are the app deadlines for OCI positions? Deadlines are determined by employers; the earliest ones will be around mid- to late-September.
  • Do I have to be approved to apply for OCI positions in Handshake like I did in GWork? Yes. If you had OCR approval in GWork, your approval status will be transferred to Handshake; you will not have to re-take the OCI quiz. If you were NOT approved for OCR in GWork, you will take the new OCI quiz via Handshake, which will be available in the next week.
  • When will fall employer events be publicized? Employers will be finalizing their on-campus events during August; keep an eye on Handshake for updates! Events will also be included in this newsletter as they are scheduled.
