Ana Herndon
Hello All! My name is Ana Herndon, a sophomore from Atlanta, Georgia. I am studying Public Policy and Economics here at Duke. Some of my passions include education reform, ethics, and promoting diversity in youth sports. I wanted to become a Community Intern because I wanted an opportunity to work with the OSCCS to help improve the relationship between faculty and students and promote equity within the Duke Community.

Annabelle Feibel
My name is Annabelle Feibel and I am a Senior studying Psychology. I am originally from Columbus, OH and enjoy baking, making travel videography, and spending time with my family. I am excited to serve as a Community Intern because I am eager to preserve integrity, increase transparency between the student body and administration, and drive positive change in the Duke Community.

Hi! My name is Jada Purkett, and I am a Junior studying Public Policy & Psychology. Outside of working, I love finding new music, knitting, writing poetry, and hanging out with friends. I am excited to work as a Community Intern because I care about informing and advocating for students! I look forward to contributing positively to our campus culture through the office.

Paige Knudsen
My name is Paige Knudsen (they/them) and I am a junior studying computer science with minors in mathematics and gender, sexuality, and feminist studies. At Duke, I am a member of the rowing team and president of Athlete Ally, an organization which aims to support LGBTQ+ athletes. I am super excited to be a Community Intern to learn more about the needs of Duke students and the Durham community and to play an active role in the relationship between the two.

Get To Know a DeanAssistant Dean of Students, Maggie Peterson, has worked with OSCCS for three years and assists in the administration of the university’s disciplinary process for all alleged undergraduate misconduct. Dean Peterson receives and reviews complaints, conduct investigations, determines probable cause, conducts hearings, and issues sanctions as appropriate. Additionally, Dean Peterson helps to educate and train the greater Duke community about University policies and procedures. Watch the video below to learn more about Dean Peterson!

Year in Review: 2021-2022 OSCCS Annual Report
Each year, OSCCS gathers aggregate conduct outcomes for the academic year and shares this data with the Duke Community. You can read the full 2021-2022 academic year report on the OSCCS page.
As you can see in the overview shared below, OSCCS increased its utilization of adaptable resolution practices, and most matters were resolved with educational, developmental, and reflective conversations.
