IUP at Northpointe releases spring Dean’s List; SGA president joins State System board; Punxsutawney campus celebrates Pride Month; and more
IUP aims to support every student who sets foot on campus. Offering a range of services for the LGBTQIA+ community is a key part of that. Hear about one student’s experiences and about the support IUP provides in the video “LGBTQIA+ and Supported at IUP.”
President Michael Driscoll offers condolences on the death of Christopher Pugh, of Clarksville, Tennessee. A student in the Department of Kinesiology, Health, and Sport Science, he died June 16.

UNIVERSITY NEWS
Abigail Hancox, a political science major, a Cook Honors College student, and president of the Student Government Association, will represent IUP on the board of governors of Pennsylvania’s State System of Higher Education.
ACHIEVEMENTS
Henry Wong Doe, Department of Music, performed a solo piano recital as part of a Crocker Art Museum series that invites musicians to give performances inspired by the Sacramento museum’s exhibits. Wong Doe’s recital was inspired by an exhibit of Wayne Thiebaud’s paintings.
