The IDEAL Summer Academy Application is Here!
Planning has begun for our fourth-annual Summer Academy! IDEAL Summer Academy is an exciting opportunity for prospective IDEAL students to experience campus and dorm life via a week-long, residential summer camp program on the Lipscomb University campus. The program will include classes on college readiness, career exploration, and independent living skills, as well as fun on-campus activities and off-campus excursions.
Apply via the button below! Applications are due March 20, 2020 . Space is very limited, so unfortunately we cannot guarantee all applicants a spot at Summer Academy. After the application window closes, eligible applicants will be invited for the next round of the application process. Please see below for eliigibility requirements. We hope to see you on campus soon!
- Applicants must have a documented intellectual disability. (Must submit a recent Psycho-educational Evaluation)
- Applicants must be at least rising high school seniors or older
- Applicants can be no older than age 24, and must turn 17 on or before June 2, 2019.
- Applicants must have independence and personal care skills sufficient for a week away from home.
- Applicants cannot be IDEAL Program alumni or current students.
