The U.S. Air Force Academy Association & Foundation has recently learned of the death of Lt. Col. (Ret.) John N. Brothers, CS-22, Class of 1962. Col. Brothers passed away on March 11, 2026, in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Graveside rites were given on March 31, 2026, at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Albuquerque, New Mexico.
His family has suggested memorial donations be made in lieu of flowers to Animal Humane of New Mexico.
Condolences may be left online with his obituary.
