Erland, in collaboration with Scalora Consulting Group and Olson Lewis + Architects, has been selected by Tenacre Country Day School to relocate and transform the school’s historic two-story headmaster’s residence, known as Appledore House. The building will be moved to the front of the site, where it will undergo an extensive renovation to become the hub for admissions and development offices. Appledore, with its rich history dating back to 1880 and spanning 4,120 square feet, will soon be revitalized into a modern and functional space that honors its heritage while meeting the needs of the school.
In addition to the restoration of Appledore, Erland will construct a brand-new two-story Design Center. This state-of-the-art classroom building will span 9,480 square feet and serve as a cutting-edge educational space for Tenacre students. The Design Center promises to provide an innovative environment conducive to learning and creativity. The school’s bustling campus will remain occupied throughout construction.
This is Erland's first time partnering with Tenacre Country Day School.
