Is it after Valentine’s Day? It is. Are we going to stop sharing our collection of Creighton love stories? We are not. This story of love stories proved to be one of the most popular in our history, so much so that we’re launching a Creighton love stories series beyond Valentine’s Day. “Creighton, whether it’s in the classroom or on the field, is a training ground for future life. We want to do everything we can to help the students on that training ground to succeed.” Former Creighton baseball player Mark Henkels, BSBA’83, and his wife Deborah Henkels, BA’83, have endowed a first baseman position scholarship at Creighton. Mark is the first former student-athlete to endow a position-specific scholarship. It’s the third such Creighton scholarship overall. Read more.
