Family and friends of President Jim Clements and First Lady Beth Clements surprised them by announcing a pair of endowments worth more than $1.4 million combined. Created in their honor during an event on Jan. 26 to celebrate President Clements' 10-year anniversary at Clemson, the Clements Family Endowment for ClemsonLIFE and the Clements Family Lyceum Scholars Endowment will benefit two programs near and dear to the Clements’ hearts.

A professor at West Virginia University in the Department of Physics and Astronomy and associate director of the Center for KINETIC Plasma Physics, Cassak will present at the Watt Family Innovation Center Auditorium to discuss breakthroughs in thermodynamics in space.

The Division of Marketing and Communications offers a variety of services to University personnel and the media. From posting events and stories to reviewing graphic designs created in your division, department, office, or college, public media outreach, and advertising assistance, the Division of Marketing and Communications is ready to help and offers a request link to submit requests and self-help resources.

The run is scheduled for February 18 from 8-10 a.m. Runners will gather in the Carillon Garden before running a route that guides them past sites of significance for Black history at Clemson. Proceeds will support the Call My Name project's ongoing research and community initiatives.

The Faculty Representative to the Board is recognized as the official representative of the faculty and is granted privileges beyond those accorded to visitors to the Board’s meetings. Candidate materials will be accepted through April 30, and the selection will be announced no later than May 14.

Staff performance evaluations are due on February 28 for staff members in Athletics (Football/Soccer), CAFLS, CAAC, CAH, CBSHS, The Wilbur O. and Ann Powers College of Business, CECAS, Student Affairs, the Watt Center and the Learning Institute.
