Federation partner Pozez JCCNV and Sunrise Association have launched Horizon Day Camp-Metro DC, a first-of-its-kind day camp for kids with cancer and their siblings. Join Washington Hebrew Congregation and volunteers from the Christian and Muslim communities to help package food for those in need. This project will take place at First Baptist Church Glenarden in Upper Marlboro Maryland on Sunday, March 13th from 2:30 PM – 4:30 PM.
- HIAS Letter Writing
Join Federation partner HIAS for a monthly program in which volunteers write letters of compassion and solidarity to people in immigration detention and participate in a short learning session that reflects on issues facing refugees and asylum seekers.
