Schedule Update – February 18 Now a Designated School Day
Dear St. Michael’s Families,
Between water and power outages and winter weather, 2025 has certainly brought its share of challenges. We sincerely hope that brighter and calmer days are ahead for all.
As always, our priority at St. Michael’s is providing the best education for our students. In light of the instructional time lost due to recent closures, we have made the decision to hold classes on Tuesday, February 18, which was originally scheduled as a Faculty Professional Development Day/student holiday. This day will now serve as a designated school day for students, faculty, and staff, following a “D” day schedule in our rotation.
We understand that some families may have already made plans for the long weekend. With that in mind, any student absences on Tuesday will be considered excused, and teachers will work with students to ensure they can catch up on missed work.
Morning Gym and Afternoon Extended Day will operate as usual.
For lunch, students should bring a bagged lunch, snack, and water bottle on Tuesday.
Thank you for your patience, support, and flexibility. We are grateful for our wonderful St. Michael’s community and appreciate your understanding.
Sincerely,
Bob Gregg, Head of School
