Student Belongings Pickup
July 21, 2020
Dear St. Michael’s Families,
Our administrative team has been working very hard to set a course for the safe re-opening of our Campus for in-person learning this fall as allowed by state mandates and pending any new decisions by the Governor. Our re-opening plan will be reviewed with the St. Michael’s Board of Directors at their meeting at the end of this week. So as to accommodate their feedback, I will plan to share an update with our families within the next two weeks. As well, be sure to check your email this Thursday for an important survey on school re-opening and your family’s needs.
Below please find an update on student belongings pick-up. We have planned days and times over the next two weeks for families to retrieve and drop off items from the 2019-20 school year.
Student Belongings Pick-Up (Locker and Cubby Items) and School Item Return
We have set aside four days over the next two weeks for student belongings pick-up as follows:
Wednesday and Thursday, July 22 and 23, 10 a.m.- 1 p.m.
Wednesday and Thursday, July 29 and 30, 10 a.m.- 1 p.m.
All K-7 items from this past school year have been consolidated by grade in the Dragons’ Den in Hubbard Hall (Lower School). The retrieval process is as follows:
Should you have items to return, please then drive around to the entrance of Singleton Hall where return bins will be placed. Exit your car and RETURN to the School any textbooks (like sixth grade science and social studies books), library books, school calculators, athletic uniforms, and any borrowed Lower School Chromebooks with charging cords. LABEL ALL RETURNED ITEMS with your child's name.
NOTE: Rising 7th and 8th graders should keep their Chromebooks. That said, if a Middle School Chromebook needs servicing, please return it (with the charging cord) to the School with an attached note stating the child’s name/grade and the issue that needs to be resolved.
Thank you for your ongoing support of St. Michael’s. We hope you are having a fun and restful summer!
Sincerely,
Bob Gregg
Head of School
