| | Liz Weintraub, Leader in Disability Advocacy
Liz Weintraub, a member of Federation’s Disability Inclusion Task Force, has a long history of leadership in disability advocacy. Her career has included multiple state and national board and advisory positions, including as a Fellow for Pennsylvania’s Senator Casey in his DC office. Read what Liz had to share about advocacy, building deeper connections between people, and creating opportunities for participation.

| | Sara Portman Milner: Championing the Inclusion of Children and Adults with Disabilities
For nearly 50 years, Federation Disability Inclusion Committee member Sara Portman Milner has made a difference in our community. A social worker by training, Sara is a nationally and internationally recognized champion for the inclusion of children and adults with disabilities in all aspects of community life. We spoke with Sara to learn more about her work, her instrumental role as co-founder of Federation partner Sunflower Bakery, and the larger role the community can play in advocating for people with disabilities.

| | Scholarships for Jewish College Students
Hillel International
Federation partner Hillel International is helping incoming freshmen and current college students pay for the cost of college. Scholarships are open to students who identify as Jewish and are attending or preparing to attend four-year colleges and universities in the US and Canada.

- Pozez Blood Drive
Federation partner Pozez JCCNV is partnering with the American Red Cross to host a blood drive that will help replenish critically low blood supply this season. Donate blood on Friday, March 4th between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM at the J.
- Yad Yehuda Purim Food Drive
The Capital Kosher Pantry at Yad Yehuda works to address food and financial insecurity across the local Jewish community through an array of programs, offering kosher food and financial assistance. They are currently seeking donations of kosher foods for their Purim Food Drive.
