Health and Wellness at St M
Research has shown that the academic success of students is strongly linked to their health. Students who are more physically active, get adequate sleep and consume a balanced diet perform better in school than those who do not.
On Friday, our Middle Schoolers participated in a
Wellness Day exploring the topics of Mental Wellness/Coping Skills for Stress, Mindfulness and Relaxation, Nutritious Snacks and
Healthy Sleep Habits. Special thanks to organizer Katherine Martin and to our speakers:
