Take a mid-week break and head over to SW Market at SW 10th this Wednesday, Feb. 18 for the soft opening of PSU’s new dog park.
Plus, your suggestions are needed! This fur-friendly feature of the PSU community needs a name as legendary as its students. How would you want to tell a friend, “Meet Spot and I at the ________” ? Think Viking pride! Submit your suggestion by Friday, March 20. The winner receives a $25 PSU Bookstore gift certificate and bragging (wagging) rights!

Curious about what it's like to live on campus? This Wednesday, you can visit any of the five residence halls and tour a variety of room types. This is the only time of year when all of the residence buildings are available for viewing. Free SWAG will be available for all who attend and raffle prizes will be available to current residents. Check-in at the St. Helens or Broadway residential lobbies for building maps and unit-specific information.

Students, faculty and staff are all welcome to this free event hosted by the College of Education.

Experience a South African celebration with PSU choirs |
Featuring world-renowned guest composer and conductor Michael Barrett from South Africa in an extraordinary citywide choir collaboration, this concert is a powerful celebration of community, growth and musical storytelling. PSU’s Chamber Choir, Rose Choir and Thorn Choir are joined by a massed choir of 200 of the finest high school singers from across the Portland area, including students from Grant, Lincoln, Sam Barlow, Camas, Rex, Gresham and Cleveland high schools. This will be a once-in-a-generation gathering of voices across ages and experiences. Expect music that challenges and uplifts — music that reminds us how, when voices come together, our shared soil becomes something profoundly alive. This event is $15 for students with IDs.
