Open Application for Associate Justice - Student Court
|
Interested in law? Baylor Student Government is opening applications for Associate Justice to the entire student body. Associate Justices serve on Student Court, the judicial branch of Student Government. The Court has broad jurisdiction over the student body and hears cases ranging from electoral appeals to parking citation disputes, giving justices hands-on experience with legal reasoning, hearings, and written opinions. How to apply: Complete the application HERE. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis through December, so early applicants are encouraged.

Register and Vote in This Fall’s Election!
|
Oct. 5: Last day to register to vote in McLennan County, if you want to vote here. Registration can be done by mail or in person at the County Records Building downtown. You cannot register online to vote in Texas, so don’t wait to the last day!
Oct. 19-30: Early voting. Nearest site is the County Records Building downtown. Students registered in other Texas counties can go there during early voting and vote a limited ballot—statewide offices only.
Nov 3: 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Voting at the Hurd Center for McLennan County registered voters only. Students who are registered in the county may go to any vote center in the county on that day; the Hurd Center is just the closest.
