Cobham Advanced Electronic Systems (CAES) has selected Erland Construction, in collaboration with Struo, to restore 101,930sf of space they have occupied within the Cross River Center at 1001 Pawtucket Boulevard in Lowell as their lease concludes. This project will involve a comprehensive decommissioning process, returning the facility to its original condition in accordance with the landlord’s requirements.
The scope of work includes the removal of all tenant-specific modifications, the restoration of core mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems, and ensuring that the space is brought back to a base building condition. Erland’s expertise in managing complex renovation projects will be instrumental in executing this work efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.
Erland is no stranger to 1001 Pawtucket Boulevard. In the 1980s, the firm constructed the Drum Hill Technology Center, laying the foundation for what would become a key hub for high-tech and advanced manufacturing companies. Years later, Erland returned to renovate space within the same complex for MACOM. Now, with this latest project for CAES, Erland continues its legacy of excellence at this location, leveraging decades of experience to deliver a seamless transition for both the tenant and landlord.
