May is ...

a look at our racial justice work, one year later
Since George Floyd's murder on May 25, 2020, Violence Free Colorado has joined the call in the past year for police accountability and racial justice, sharing statements and resources to continue the discussion around anti-racism work.
But our work - internally and externally - continues around where we've fallen short and what work is most impactful in creating change.
We know that violence is rooted in oppression, and can only be ended through equity for all. And we strive to work from a place that goes beyond words and moves into action in our pursuit of a world without violence.
