| Giant Pharmacy Vaccine Clinic at the Pozez JCC

Together with Giant Pharmacy, Federation partner Pozez JCC is offering free vaccines at their building in Fairfax, VA. Multiple vaccines will be offered, including flu shots and first, second, or booster shots for COVID-19 (if eligible).

| Lantern Havdalah in the Park
Edlavitch DCJCC and Washington Hebrew Congregation, funded by Federation
Families are invited to create beautiful light! Bring your children to create lanterns and enjoy a special walk culminating with Havdalah, a sensory ritual to bid farewell to Shabbat and prepare for a wonderful new week. Supplies provided to create lanterns. Bring your own flashlight to add extra light and fun as children explore.

- Judy’s Place: Where Children Shop for Holiday Gifts
Children ages 2-13 can experience the joy of giving through Judy's Place, a unique, non-denominational guided holiday shopping experience at Temple Rodef Shalom. Volunteers will be on hand to help young shoppers select gifts to surprise loved ones and pets! Gifts range from $1 to $15, and proceeds support local, national, and international charities. Shop early for the best selection on Sundays, November 14th and 21st, 8:30 AM – 2:00 PM.
- Volunteer Night at the Capital Area Food Bank
Join Federation partner Edlavitch DCJCC and the Capital Area Food Bank on Monday, November 15th from 5:30 PM – 8:00 PM to support DMV residents. Join your fellow volunteers to help sort and pack donated food items in the Capital Area Food Bank distribution center.
