WATCH: Today marks 25 years since the September 11, 2001, attacks. As the nation remembers the lives lost on that day, Clemson faculty and staff recount their memories of that day and how the University came together in remembrance.

This morning, Clemson faculty, staff, students and community members are participating in the Memorial Stair Climb at Littlejohn Coliseum, where they will climb 110 flights of stairs in remembrance of those who lost their lives and the first responders who served that day.

- The event's closing remarks will be delivered by U.S. Army Col. Eddy Morehead '77, who was in the Pentagon on September 11 when it was struck by American Airlines Flight 77.

The First Friday Parade is today. A section of Highway 76 starting at Cherry Road will close at 5:45 p.m.
