| Career Opportunity: Future Faculty Job Search Academy
|
This workshop is open to graduate students and postdoctoral scholars interested in higher education careers. The Future Faculty Job Search Academy will prepare you for a unique academic job search experience. Participants will plan their academic job search strategy and create drafts of their entire job search packet including CV, cover letter, and teaching and research statements.

Interdisciplinary Collaborations for Graduate Students and Postdocs

In collaboration with the Effective Team Dynamics Initiatives at Georgia Tech, the Office of Postdoctoral Services is offering a special workshop for graduate students and postdocs to:

Reflect on their strengths and what they bring to a team
- Formulate solutions to communication challenges in research teams
- Practice approaches to address conflict in a systematic and respectful way.
This is an interactive, in-person workshop that will discuss common challenges in research teams and practice effective communication and conflict resolution skills.

| Funding Opportunity: ARCS Scholar Awards
|
The ARCS Scholar Award recognizes outstanding doctoral students who have a record of past achievement and who show exceptional promise of making a significant contribution to the worldwide advancement of science and technology. There are specific eligibility criteria set by ARCS for this $7,500 topper award. The internal deadline for complete application (student application and faculty recommendation letter) in InfoReady is July 21st

The NSF program team has shared an opportunity to learn about the NSF Graduate Research Fellowship Program (NSF GRFP). Participants will gain an understanding of the eligibility requirements, application process, and review criteria for the NSF GRFP. There are a few sessions in July, register in advance.
